The following speeds are for guidance only. Variations above or below these speeds according to manner of use and particular material may also be satisfactory. Always use safety glasses.

Instruments have to be disinfected and, if necessary, sterilized before use.

Disinfection and cleaning:
• Put instruments into a bath with suitable disinfection and cleansing liquid.
• Afterwards, clean the instruments manually or by ultrasonic bath.
• After cleaning the instruments, dry immediately.

Sterilization:
• Following the disinfection and cleaning, the instruments can be sterilized in the autoclave, chemiclave, or hot-air sterilizer.
• Before the sterilization, the instruments have to be put into a case or foil permeable to germs and suitable for sterilization.
• After the sterilization, the instruments in the case or foil should be kept in a dry and dustfree place.
